Auctions: Unique sales like antique dolls. Early American furniture etc. Not like you find at the fairgrounds.

Events: For Easter, Christmas, 4th of July. Get churches together rock clubs, etc. Health fairs, organic food groups. Earth day celebrations. Fundraisers

Concerts: Country, rock, church etc.. Most acceptable types of music. Form unions with radio and ad agencies.

Weddings: Unique special types where the groom rides up on a white horse, the ride and her father in a carriage. Their married in a rose garden or in New Orleans them type production. The money is outrageous. Do all in house with contracted outside support.

Picnics: For companies, families, groups etc... Form horse shoe teams, volleyball, ping pong, pool table. Something for everyone in the park like surrounding or the English Pub Sports center. If it rains, bring the complete party inside to the gym and "Carlos O'Brien's" multi purpose room.

Sports Events: Nebraska Football on large screen TV.'s for the entire family with cheer leaders on stage - skit players. Make it an event so people actually thinks it's more rural than going to the game. Develop farm teams, girls, women's, etc. From basketball to inside target shooting.

Reunions: High school, college, family, etc.. The last all class reunion here in Marquette 250 people cam and had a blast.

Business/Hobby Suites: Rent out a room to a group that meet on Tuesdays that have everything set up to be there all day. example sales training for the tri-county area for IBM where they leave all their equipment and literature - Like a micro office without the overhead. Ethanol and "Green" type where there really not big enough to have a full time office.

Retreats: One hundred cots in a five rooms would give them plenty of space without the cost. Religious, fraternal etc... The peaceful village scenario. Not another Holiday Inn by the interstate.

Crafts: Shows around Christmas that the surrounding communities support. All space rents go to a worthy cause. Charge very little and develop a lot of contacts.

Plays: Armature to professional groups, poetry to opera.

Recitals: Usually kids whose parents will promote you and your events when you don't charge them and "bend over backwards" to help them out.

Local Community Anything: No charge as long as they don't start taking advantage. This building is the center piece of the community. Therefore, one must be the "salt of the earth" because when one of your patrons backs over their mail box they'll put it back up and not even mention the incident.

Rural Retreat: A getaway for the weekend - A peaceful village retreat four acre property - park like setting, feel peaceful in nature - close to nature, rail trail, Eco Center, hiking, biking or riding a horse. This back to nature Eco Center is only one hour from Lincoln or Kearney. Corporate retreat.
